This Summer, join me on the Western shore of the famed Hudson Bay, where the tundra comes to alive with vibrant colour, setting the stage for unforgettable encounters with majestic polar bears. The cool crisp waters of the Churchill River Basin provide a playground for thousands of beluga whales. We will embark on zodiac adventures where we will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these extremely charming and curious white whales. Summer is a season where the snow gives way to the fireweed blooms, vibrant lichen and scarlet bearberries which decorate the Canadian tundra. Amongst the flora the landscape is teeming with potential wildlife encounters including the iconic polar bears, yes there are polar bears to be seen in Summer! Not to mention other wildlife such as hares, arctic fox, red foxes, wolves, and all kinds of birdlife.
